For me this event is a dream come true. Growing up in the knife world around hammer-ins I always hoped one day I’d be able to host my own. For the past six years my wife and I have hosted the Big Sky Conference. This event is open to anyone of all ability levels. I invite top knife makers from around the world to teach classes about all phases of knife making.
At the Big Sky Conference you will get to mingle with great knife makers and collectors that are in attendance. This conference is a great place for new and experienced makers to learn great tips that will help improve your knife making skills. The classes also help collectors understand what to look for when buying knives.
Usually we have a camp fire at night and enjoy each other’s company once the classes have ended. Meals are included in the cost of the conference and there is camping available on site.
